Purified water can be prepared by distillation, ion exchange, by reverse osmosis or by any other suitable method that complies with the regulations on water intended for human consumption. PAA water is produced by ion exchange and reverse osmosis. During production appropriate measures are taken to ensure that the total viable aerobic count is adequately controlled and monitored. A further test parameter is the conductivity factor which describes the ability of an aqueous solution to carry an electric current. A nutrient-rich solution will have a higher conductivity than a solution with less ionic salts (nutrients). The higher the nutrient level the higher the conductivity.
