AccuMax is a ready to use non-mammalian enzymatic dissociation solution for creating single cell suspensions from clumped cell cultures for accurate cell counting.

Description

AccuMax is a cell dissociation solution containing proteolytic, collagenolytic and DNase enzymes. It is useful for the routine dissociation of cell clumps for accurate cell counting. AccuMax does not contain mammalian or bacterial derived products. AccuMax is a ready to use solution and 0.1 micron filter sterilised in phosphate buffered saline (Dulbecco’s PBS).

Quality Control

AccuMax has been thoroughly tested and passed strict performance tests for cell aggregate dissociation and cell viability.

Shelf Life and Storage

AccuMax has a shelf life of 18 months when stored at <-15°C. Once thawed, AccuMax is stable for 4 weeks at +2°C to +8°C.

Instructions for Use

  1. Harvest a representative sample of clumped cells, 0.5 ml or 1.0 ml, and place in the container used for cell counting.
  2. Add an equal volume of AccuMax to the sample of cells and incubate for 5 to 10 minutes at +37oC.
  3. Count the cells by your normal procedure. Note that the cells have been diluted an extra 2 fold.
