RPMI 1640 Ready Mix is a ready to use complete cell culture medium.

Composition

RPMI 1640 Ready Mix consits of RPMI 1640 supplemented with 10% FBS Gold and L-glutamine.

Shelf Life and Storage

RPMI 1640 Ready Mix is stable for 2 years when stored at <-15°C. Once thawed, RPMI 1640 Ready Mix is stable for 3 months when stored at +2°C to +8°C.

Instructions for use

  1. Thaw RPMI 1640 Ready Mix in the refrigerator (+2°C to +8°C) or in a water bath (max. 37°C). When using the water bath sway the bottle gently to accelerate the thawing process.
  2. After the thawing process RPMI 1640 Ready Mix can be used the same way as a freshly supplemented medium.
  3. Repeated thawing/freezing cycles of RPMI 1640 Ready Mix should be avoided.
  4. RPMI 1640 Ready Mix can be supplemented with other reagents (i.e. antibiotics).
