Human Serum for Cell Culture Applications
Human Serum in the culture medium provides human cells with an environment more closely matching their physiological conditions than media with animal serum. Within an autologous system surface molecules and expression patterns are not falsified by species with other growth factors. Especially sensitive human cell lines but also primary cells such as lymphocytes or macrophages benefit from the use of human serum.
