Neuronal Stem Cell Supplement is a serum free supplement for growth and proliferation of neurospheres and neuronal stem cells.
Components
The supplement (50x concentrate) contains vitamins, hormones and other growth factors such as insulin, transferrin, catalase, antioxidants, fatty acids and fatty acid precursors. The complex mixture of different antioxidants reduces the reactive oxygen damage. Neuronal Stem Cell Supplement derived from B27 NeuroMix, does not contain retinoic acid. Removal of vitamin A prevents neuronal differentiation of stem cells.
Application
When added to Neuronal Base Medium or DMEM/Ham´s F-12, the supplement enhances the proliferation of neuronal stem cells. For optimal results PAA recommends Neuronal Base Medium (Cat. No. U15-023).
