Nanofectamin is a transfection reagent containing a progressive blend of polycationic lipids and other compounds for an effective transfection of DNA or RNA into eukaryotic cells. The unique polycationic surface-structure enables Nanofectamin to bind higher amounts of nucleic acids and to form stable lipoplexes. Special components support the transfection complex targeting the cell membrane where they fuse with the double lipid layer and release the nucleic acids. By this technology higher amounts of nucleic acids are transfected into the cells resulting in high transfection efficiencies.
