Insect Express Prime has been developed for serum free cultivation of various Spodoptera frugiperda (Sf9 and Sf21), BTI-Tn-5B1-4 (High Five) and Drosophila melanogaster insect cell lines. Insect Express Prime is protein free and therefore optimised for highest production of recombinant proteins using the Baculovirus expression system. The ready to use media are highly useful for suspension cultures as well as scale-up perfusion fermentation processes
