Hypothermic preservation is a procedure to stabilize cells and organs at +2°C to +8°C. The goal of cold storage is to induce hypothermia in order to suppress the rate of cell deterioration. The cold storage of tissues and organs with optimized hypothermic preservation media is a prerequisite for successful animal organ transplantation experiments.
CoolStar Rinse has been formulated as a rinsing solution to flush the culture media and native fluids from the mammalian cells, tissues and organs. It should be used in combination with CoolStar. Both products are available in the convenient CoolStar Kit.
