B27 NeuroMix is a serum free supplement for differentiation of stem cells of neuronal origin and differentiation of murine embryonic stem cells into neuronal lineages.
Applications
For differentiation of neuronal stem cells the supplement contains vitamin A. B27 NeuroMix can also be used together with G5 Supplement to improve growth and differentiation of neuronal stem cells into astrocytes and neurons.
For differentiation of murine embryonic stem cells into neuronal lineages B27 NeuroMix and G5 Supplement provide essential growth factors and hormones.
When added to Neuronal Base Medium, B27 NeuroMix supports the growth of neuronal cells and neuronal stem cells without the need of specific feeder cells.
Composition
The supplement is a chemically defined 50x concentrate and contains vitamins, hormones and other growth promoting factors including insulin, transferrin, catalase, superoxide dismutase, antioxidants and fatty acids.
